6-23: Join 30+ F50 Startups & Hundreds of global investors @ Funded Season 1

Entrepreneurship, General

Dear Startup Founders in Silicon Valley

I would like to invite all of you who are working on a startup and interested to learn more about the startup funding process to join us for F50: Funded! Season 1 during Google IO week.

F50 is YOUR idea.

After 5 years of working with the founders of our community like you, I was always trying to find better ways I could help founders to make the fundraising process easier.

Startup founders spend too much time worrying about fundraising while they could be building their business. Investors replicate each other’s efforts while they could be looking at more deals and building relationships with the founders they want to invest in. We’re working to fix all that. Join us @ F50 Season 1 to helpshake up the funding process for startups and accelerate innovation in Silicon Valley!

Special thanks to the ~30 team members who have come together and played a part for F50 to create this program and to help our startups get Funded!

Additionally, I think now is as good a time as any to announce F50 Ventures, a new angel fund I created which will make strategic investments into some of the F50 companies. We have a world class team and are looking to create impact with each of our investments.

And so we begin: We invite you to attend the F50 Season 1 at Computer History Museum in Mountain View. Please come and:

  • Learn @ the Fundable Founder Bootcamp on June 23rd (9:30am)
  • Attend F50 Demo Day on June 24th morning at Computer History Museum (9:30am) There you can see the top startups this season and connect with investors

Founder Pass price goes up tomorrow, so: REGISTER TODAY

Remember this is a BYOS event! (Bring your own startup)

Thank you very much and see you soon!

Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs Update

General

Dear Founders, Innovators, Investors, Entrepreneurs and Dreamers of Silicon Valley,

We hope you’re making progress on your ventures,we have some announcements for you about SVE:

Rebranding:

Our community has been seven years in the making, but today marks the dawn of a new era. We’ve updated our logo to reflect our community, a shared space for learning and inspiration. While this particular change is mostly symbolic, you can expect many great things in the coming weeks and months as we work to empower innovators such as yourself.

Redrawing the Map:

Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs will now cover the Bay Area from San Jose to Palo Alto/Mountain View to San Francisco and Berkeley (the East Bay as well). Our intention is to create better cross-pollination between the communities, and pockets of innovation, within the Bay Area. We’ll need venues and local chapter ambassadors in some of these locales, as well as for Bay Area universities.

If you’re interested in empowering entrepreneurs in your local community/university/etc, please contact Maggie Redmon from our team: r@sventrepreneurs.net.

Growth Stage:

Please help us to get the word out and share group membership with your friends/colleagues in the Bay Area who are passionate about startups: Invite other Entrepreneurs. Special benefits will be rolled out to SVE members in the coming months, including discounts on services and programs which are beneficial to founders (i.e. complimentary compute hours from Google, code camps, incorporation services, legal advice, accounting/insurance services, etc.).

Call for Investors:

Participation is a way for us to gain feedback to ensure that promising startups are recognized to receive investment opportunities. It’s a chance to give nascent entrepreneurs direction and connect as benefactors of the community. Investors are invited to support our mission in the following ways:

Sign up using our investor application at F50.

Attend our Boardroom and private receptions for F50 founders and candidates.

Attend a public Pitch and Demo event as a panel judge.

Refer qualified founders to our startup application at F50.

Thank you,

-DC & The Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs Team
